Cavaliers Defeat Sixers, 108-94
The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the visiting Philadelphia 76ers, 108-94, at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Wednesday.

Cleveland got out to a 28-17 lead after the first quarter, winning this game in wire-to-wire fashion. In fact, Philly never got the game within a five-point margin after that big opening quarter. Cleveland ended up shooting 53 percent from the field and 46 percent from three-point range while holding Philadelphia to 40 percent from the field and 34 percent from long range. In addition, the Cavaliers outrebounded the Sixers on the defensive end, 40-24. In addition, Cleveland hit 88 percent of their free-throws while Philly connected on just 64 percent.

The Sixers (36-23) had to play this game without Ben Simmons (back) and they also lost Joel Embiid to a shoulder injury in the first quarter. Shake Milton led the team in their absences, tallying 20 points, four rebounds and gout assists. Tobias Harris totaled 11 points, fout rebounds, three assists and three steals. Al Horford collected 10 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals.

The Cavaliers (17-41) were led by Collin Sexton, who generated 28 points, two assists and two steals. Tristan Thompson accrued 14 points, 13 rebounds and two assists. Kevin Love accumulated 13 points, nine rebounds and six assists. Larry Nance Jr led the bench with 13 points, 15 rebounds and three assists.

Philly has to play again on Thursday, returning home to face the New York Knicks. As for Cleveland, they return to action on Friday in a road matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans.
