Jazz Defeat Wizards, 129-119
The Utah Jazz defeated the visiting Washington Wizards, 129-119, at Vivint Smart Home Arena on Friday.

There were eight ties and 10 lead changes in this game, with Utah riding a 32-21 third quarter to their victory. In fact, that allowed them to hold the lead for the entirety of the final quarter, getting up to a 15-point lead at times. Utah ended up out-rebounding Washington, 54-41. In addition, the Jazz shot 49 percent from the field and 51 percent from three-point range while holding the Wizards to 46 percent from the field and 38 percent from long range.

The Wizards (21-37) got another gem from Bradley Beal, who tallied 42 points, five rebounds, 10 assists and two steals. Rui Hachimura amassed 15 points, seven rebounds and three steals. Thomas Bryant led the bench with 16 points, two rebounds and three assists. Troy Brown Jr also provided 11 points, three rebounds and three assists.

The Jazz (37-22) were led by Donovan Mitchell, who totaled 30 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Bojan Bogdanovic accrued 21 points and three assists. Mike Conley collected 16 points, five rebounds and six assists. Rudy Gobert accumulated nine points, nine rebounds, three steals and four blocks. Jordan Clarkson led the bench with 20 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Washington will play again on Sunday, remaining on the road to face Golden State Warriors. As for Utah, they travel to play the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday for their next fixture.
