Hornets Edge Raptors, 99-96
The Charlotte Hornets defeated the Toronto Raptors, 99-96, at Scotiabank Arena on Friday night.

The Hornets (21-38) had consistently been one of the poorest road offenses throughout the season, so it was a considerable surprise to see them jump out to a 52-41 halftime lead with the help of a dominant second quarter. The Raptors (42-17) would battle back to shave four points off their deficit going into the final period, and although they owned a 95-93 advantage with 1:14 remaining, Charlotte squeaked out the win with the help of a Miles Bridges three-pointer and free throws from Terry Rozier and Devonte' Graham.

Rozier and Graham co-led the Hornets with matching 18-point tallies, with Rozier adding six points and six assists and Graham contributing four boards and five dimes. Bridges offered 17 points, five boards, one assist and three blocks. P.J. Washington managed 15 points and nine rebounds. Bismack Biyombo generated a 13-point, 11-rebound double-double that also included one assist and two blocks.

Pascal Siakam led the Raptors with 24 points, complementing them with nine boards, four assists, two steals and one block. Norman Powell poured in 22 points. Kyle Lowry delivered 21 points, six rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks. OG Anunoby compiled 16 points, nine boards, three assists and six steals.

The Hornets head back home to take on the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday afternoon, while the Raptors visit the Denver Nuggets on Sunday evening.
