Grizzlies Defeat Lakers, 105-88
The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the visiting Los Angeles Lakers, 105-88, at Fed Ex Forum on Saturday.

Memphis won each of the first three quarters by at least four points apiece, leading by 20 points heading into the fourth quarter. In fact, the Grizzlies led by at least eight points for the entirety of the second half. Memphis ended up outrebounding Los Angeles, 51-45, while winning the turnover battle, 14-7. In addition, the Grizzlies shot 45 percent from the field, 32 percent from three-point range and 82 percent from the free-throw line while the Lakers hit just 41 percent from the field, 29 percent from long range and 58 percent from the charity stripe.

The Lakers (45-13) were led by LeBron James, who tallied 19 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists. Anthony Davis amassed 15 points, nine rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope led the bench with 11 points, two rebounds and two assists. Kyle Kuzma generated 10 points, five rebounds and two assists.

The Grizzlies (29-31) were led by Ja Morant and his 27 points, six rebounds and 14 assists. Dillon Brooks totaled 24 points and five rebounds. Jonas Valanciunas finished with 22 points, 20 rebounds and two assists. Kyle Anderson accumulated eight points, three rebounds and three assists while Tyus Jones led the bench with seven points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Los Angeles has to play again on Sunday, traveling to face the New Orleans Pelicans. As for Memphis, they return to action on Monday when they play the Atlanta Hawks on the road.
