Knicks Outlast Bulls, 125-115
The New York Knicks defeated the Chicago Bulls, 125-115, at Madison Square Garden on Saturday evening.

Both non-contending teams came in looking to snap out of some extended doldrums, and in the first half, it was the hot-shooting Knicks (18-42) racking up 66 points to take a 13-point lead over the Bulls (20-40) going into intermission. However, Chicago bounced back to erase all but three points from its deficit heading into the final period, The visitors would then get within five points on multiple occasions in the fourth quarter before New York successfully pulled away for the double-digit win.

Zach LaVine led the Bulls with 26 points, adding seven assists, three rebounds and one steal. Coby White furnished 22 points, three assists, two boards and two steals. Thaddeus Young delivered 15 points, three rebounds, two assists and five steals. Daniel Gafford poured in 12 points. Wendell Carter, Jr. returned from an extended absence due to an ankle injury to post six points, nine rebounds, two assists and one block.

Mitchell Robinson paced the Knicks with 23 points and complemented them with 10 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal. Julius Randle managed 22 points, 10 boards, three assists and one steal. R.J. Barrett collected 19 points, four boards and three assists. Taj Gibson supplied 17 points, eight rebounds, two assists and one steal. Kevin Knox and Bobby Portis contributed 12 and 10 points off the bench, respectively, with Knox also recording six rebounds.

The Bulls return home to face the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night, while the Knicks are home against the Houston Rockets on Monday evening as well.
