Spurs Hang On For Home Win
The San Antonio Spurs defeated the visiting Orlando Magic, 114-113, at AT&T Center on Saturday evening.

The Spurs got out to a strong start at home and took a 38-27 lead after one quarter. The Magic cut it to a three-point game mid way though the second, but the Spurs regained control and took an eight-point lead into halftime. The Spurs came out strong in the third and pushed their lead to 15, but the Magic rallied back to make it a four-point game heading into the fourth. The Magic kept the momentum going and took the lead early in the fourth, but the Spurs kept it close and hit a clutch three, with just under a minute left, to go up by three points, which would be enough to hang on for the win.

Trey Lyles led the Spurs with 20 points, nine rebounds, four steals and a block, in 40 minutes. Rudy Gay added 19 points, six rebounds, four assists, two blocks and a steal, while DeMar DeRozan added 16 points, nine rebounds, three rebounds, a steal and a block. Meanwhile, Evan Fournier led the Magic with 23 points, five assists, three rebounds, four steals and a block, in 29 minutes. Terrence Ross added 21 points, four rebounds and a steal, while Nikola Vucevic added 16 points and nine rebounds. The Magic shot 49 percent from the field, including 15-of-37 from long range.

The Magic (27-33) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Trail Blazers on Monday evening. The Spurs (25-33) play host to the Pacers on Monday.
