Heat Defeat Nets, 116-113
The Miami Heat defeated the visiting Brooklyn Nets, 116-113, at American Airlines Arena on Saturday.

There were four ties and eight lead changes in the first half but Miami held the lead for the entirety of the second half. With that said, Brooklyn had two chances to tie the game in the final two seconds but committed two turnovers. A 33-22 second quarter really set the foundation for Miami, with Brooklyn never getting within two points after that lopsided quarter. The Heat did a better job of taking care of the ball, committing six turnovers to the Nets 10. In addition, Miami's bench outscored Brooklyn's bench, 41-26.

The Nets (26-33) were led by Spencer Dinwiddie, who amassed 25 points, four rebounds and 12 assists. Joe Harris totaled 20 points, four rebounds and three assists. Jarrett Allen generated 17 points and 11 boards. Caris LeVert accrued 15 points, three rebounds and four assists while Wilson Chandler led the bench with 11 points and two assists.

The Heat (38-22) were led by Kendrick Nunn and his 21 points and four boards. Jimmy Butler collected 16 points, six rebounds and eight assists. Bam Adebayo accumulated 16 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and three blocks. Goran Dragic came off the bench to provide 19 points, three rebounds and 10 assists.

On deck for Miami is a home matchup versus the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday. As for Brooklyn, they return to action on Tuesday when they stay on the road to play the Boston Celtics.
