Warriors End Eight-Game Slide
The Golden State Warriors defeated the host Phoenix Suns, 115-99, at Talking Stick Resort Arena on Saturday evening.

The Suns got out to a great start at home, with a 41-28 lead after one quarter. The Warriors fought back in the second and cut it down to a two-point game, before the Suns pushed it back to a four-point lead by halftime. The Warriors came out on fire in the third and outscored the Suns 31-16 in the quarter, to take an 11-point lead into the final frame. The Suns kept up the fight and cut the deficit to single digits early in the fourth, but the Warriors did not flinch and kept pushing through to the finish. The Warriors held to snap an eight-game slide, while this marks the third straight loss for the Suns.

Eric Paschall led the Warriors with 25 points, four assists and three rebounds, in 32 minutes off the bench. Damion Lee added 20 points, eight assists, five rebounds and a steal, while Andrew Wiggins totaled 17 points, seven rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocks. The Warriors shot 47 percent from the field, including 9-of-30 from long range.

Meanwhile, Devin Booker led the Suns with 21 points on 6-of-16 shooting, in 38 minutes. Deandre Ayton added 20 points, nine rebounds, two blocks and a steal, while Elie Okobo tallied 14 points, seven rebounds and five assists. The Suns shot 41 percent from the field, including 12-of-29 from long range.

The Suns (24-37) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Raptors on Tuesday. The Warriors (13-47) play host to the Wizards on Sunday.
