Thunder Gets Past Pistons, 114-107
The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Detroit Pistons, 114-107, at Little Caesars Arena on Wednesday night.

The Thunder (38-24) got off to a fast start that seemed to foretell yet another road victory, as they accumulated 38 points over the first 12 minutes. However, the Pistons (20-43) hung tough and trailed by just five points going into halftime. Oklahoma City seemed to find new life in the third, however, as they added seven points to their edge to carry a 12-point advantage into the final period. Nevertheless, Detroit wasn't quite finished, with a 13-2 run helping propel them to multiple leads in the closing minutes before the visitors tallied the last seven points of the contest on their way to victory.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 27 points, adding three assists, two rebounds, two steals and two blocks. Dennis Schroder delivered 23 points, nine assists and one rebound. Danilo Gallinari supplied 19 points, seven rebounds, one assist and four steals. Chris Paul collected 16 points, six assists, four rebounds and three steals.

Christian Wood paced the Pistons with a 29-point, 10-rebound double-double that also included three assists and one block. Brandon Knight totaled 18 points, seven assists, two rebounds and two steals. Jordan McRae poured in 15 points. Svi Mykhailiuk turned in 13 points, four assists, one rebound and one steal. John Henson delivered 10 points and five rebounds.

The Thunder remain on the road and visit the New York Knicks on Friday night, while the Pistons remain home and tangle with the Utah Jazz on Saturday night.
