Jazz Top Knicks For Third Straight Win
The Utah Jazz defeated the host New York Knicks, 112-104, at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday evening.

The Jazz got out to a strong start on the road and held a nine-point lead after one quarter. They stayed in control through the second, as they pushed the lead to double digits and held a 10-point lead heading into halftime. The Knicks came out strong in the third and cut the lead down to three, early in the quarter, but the Jazz took control again and rallied to a 15-point lead, heading into the final frame. The Jazz kept the momentum going and pushed their lead to 21 in the fourth, which was enough to hold off the Knicks, and earn their third straight win.

Donovan Mitchell led the Jazz with 23 points, eight assists and two steals, in 34 minutes. Bojan Bogdanovic tallied 23 points and four rebounds, while Rudy Gobert totaled 18 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks. The Jazz shot 51 percent from the field, including 10-of-36 from deep. They tallied 26 assists and limited themselves to 11 turnovers.

Meanwhile, Julius Randle had a big night, as he led the Knicks with 32 points and 11 rebounds, in 32 minutes. Elfrid Payton tallied 20 points, nine assists and seven rebounds, while Bobby Portis chipped in 21 points, four rebounds and a block, off the bench. The Knicks shot 48 percent from the field, including, 7-of-20 from long range.

The Knicks (19-43) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Thunder on Friday. The Jazz (39-22) head to Boston to take on the Celtics on Friday.
