Jazz Hold On For Third Straight Win
The Utah Jazz defeated the host Dallas Mavericks, 123-119, at American Airlines Center on Monday evening.

The Jazz got out to a strong start on the road and led 32-34 after one quarter. They carried the momentum into the second, where they outscored the Mavs by 13, to take a 21-point lead into halftime. The Mavs kept up the fight and cut it to a three-point game ate in the third, but the Jazz closed the quarter on a 17-4 run, to take a 16-point lead into the final frame. The Jazz stayed in control through the fourth and led by nine points with three minutes left. The Mavs made them play to the last whistle, but the Jazz held on to earn their third straight win.

Jordan Clarkson led the Jazz with 25 points, eight rebounds, five assists and a block, in 31 minutes. Bojan Bogdanovic added 23 points, three rebounds and two assists, while Donovan Mitchell tallied 23 points, four rebounds and two assists. The Jazz shot 59 percent from the field, including 15-of-35 from long range.

Meanwhile, Tim Hardaway Jr. led the Mavericks with 33 points, three rebounds, three assists and a steal, in 37 minutes. Kristaps Porzingis added 28 points, five rebounds, two blocks and a steal, while Seth Curry addled 15 points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal. The Mavs shot 47 percent from the field, including 15-of-43 from long range.

The Mavs (32-22) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Kings on Wednesday. The Jazz (35-18). play host to the Heat on Wednesday.
