Cavaliers Edge, Heat in OT, 125-119
The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Miami Heat in overtime, 125-119, at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Monday night.

The second game of the home-and-home set had the look of another rout for the visiting Heat (36-21) through the first three quarters, with Miami extending a 12-point halftime lead to 19 entering the final period. That's when the Cavaliers (16-41) came to life, going on a 13-0 run over a 3:29 span in the fourth quarter to close their gap significantly. Ultimately, the visitors needed a Kendrick Nunn basket with six seconds left to force overtime, but Cleveland finished the extra period on a 8-1 run over the final 1:20 to secure the victory.

Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo co-led the Heat with 22 points, with the latter adding 13 rebounds, nine assists, four blocks and three steals. Nunn provided 21 points, four assists, three rebounds and one steal. Jae Crowder delivered 16 points, nine boards and three assists. Duncan Robinson poured in 15 points, while Derrick Jones, Jr. totaled 10 points, seven boards, two blocks and one steal.

Kevin Porter, Jr. paced the Cavaliers with 30 points, supplementing them with eight rebounds, three assists and three steals. Kevin Love generated a 17-point, 14-rebound double-double that also included four assists and two blocks. Larry Nance, Jr. supplied 16 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals. Tristan Thompson produced 15 points, nine rebounds and three assists, while Darius Garland registered 14 points, seven assists, five rebounds, two steals and one block. Andre Drummond and Colin Sexton went for 13 points apiece, with Drummond adding six rebounds.

The Heat head back home to face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night, while the Cavaliers remain home and take on the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night as well.
