Magic Defeat Nets, 115-113
The Orlando Magic defeated the host Brooklyn Nets, 115-113, at Barclay's Center on Monday.

While Brooklyn held the lead for the entirety of the second and third quarters, Orlando was able to prevail thanks to a 34-26 fourth quarter. That capped off a 74-59 second half, overcoming a 19-point third quarter deficit. Free-throw shooting was the difference in the game, with the Magic hitting 14-of-17 and the Nets connecting on just 5-of-8. In addition, Orlando recorded nine blocks to Brooklyn's three.

The Magic (25-32) were led by Aaron Gordon, who tallied 27 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks. Evan Fournier amassed 21 points and four assists. Nikola Vucevic generated 16 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Markelle Fultz collected five points and seven assists while Terrence Ross led the bench with 21 points and eight rebounds.

The Nets (26-30) were led by Spencer Dinwiddie and his 24 points and eight assists. Caris LeVert accrued 19 points, five rebounds and eight assists. Jarrett Allen totaled 16 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Joe Harris finished with 12 points, six rebounds and two assists while Garrett Temple led the bench with 18 points, two rebounds and five assists.

Both teams return to action on Wednesday, with Orlando traveling to face the Atlanta Hawks and Brooklyn going on the road to play the Washington Wizards.
