Nuggets Dominate, Secure Game 3 Victory
The Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, 114-106, on Tuesday at Orlando in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals. The Lakers now lead the series by a 2-1 score.

The Nuggets came just seconds away from notching a Game 2 victory over the Lakers and failed to do so after a game-winning three from Anthony Davis, but such wasn't the case here. The Nuggets quickly jumped out to a two-point lead following the first quarter and later outscored Los Angeles by sizable margins in both the second (34-26) and third (30-22) quarters, creating a huge lead that was as much as 20 points at one point in the third quarter. The Lakers showed signs of a reaction and came quite close to complete a comeback in the fourth, but they fell short in that quest and Denver iced the game in the final seconds. Los Angeles continue to lead the series, but the Nuggets pulled out a statement win in this contest.

Jamal Murray led the Nuggets with 28 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds, while Nikola Jokic chipped in with 22 points, 10 boards and five dimes. Jerami Grant was one of Denver's most pleasant surprises since he ended with 26 points while shooting 7-for-11 from the field. Monte Morris contributed 14 points, while Michael Porter Jr. filled the stat sheet -- nine points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals.

LeBron James led the Lakers with 30 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists, while Anthony Davis registered 27 points and only two rebounds. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope contributed 12 points and three boards, while Kyle Kuzma added 11 points off the bench. Rajon Rondo left his mark as well since he notched nine points, eight assists, three steals and two boards.
