Lakers Defeat Nuggets, 105-103, in Game 2
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Denver Nuggets, 105-103, in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals in Orlando on Sunday.

While there were only four ties and eight lead changes in this game, it wasn't decided until the final shot. Los Angeles actually held the lead for over 40 minutes of this game but it stayed within a seven-point margin for the final 18 minutes of play. Denver went on a 9-0 run with three minutes remaining to take a one-point lead with 30 seconds left then the teams traded off three lead changes before Anthony Davis hit a game-winning three at the buzzer. He actually scored the final 10 points for the Lakers. The key for Los Angeles was their rebounding, winning that battle, 44-31. In addition, the Lakers connected on 95 percent of their free-throws while the Nuggets hit just 75 percent.

The Lakers (2-0) were led by Davis, who provided 31 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two blocks along with his game-winner. LeBron James finished with 26 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Danny Green and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope each scored 11 points apiece while Rajon Rondo had nine assists off the bench.

The Nuggets (0-2) were led by Nikola Jokic, who tallied 30 points, six rebounds, nine assists and four steals. Jamal Murray had 25 points, six rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks. No other starter had more than seven points but Paul Millsap did amass six points and eight boards. Michael Porter Jr led the bench with 15 points and four rebounds.

Game 3 will be played on Tuesday.
