The Timberwolves will continue to be without Jake Layman (toe) for Wednesday's game, while Shabazz Napier (hamstring) will carry a probable designation.

The Mavericks (14-6) come into Wednesday's matchup as one of the hottest teams in the NBA, having won eight of their last nine games. Dallas' most recent victims were the New Orleans Pelicans, which fell to the Mavs by a 118-97 score Tuesday night. Luka Doncic led the way for the Mavericks with a 33-point, 18-rebound double-double that also included five assists.
