Nets and Hawks Face Off in Wednesday Battle
The Brooklyn Nets take on the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena on Wednesday night.

The Nets (10-10) come into Wednesday's contest having dropped two of their last three games, although that modest skid comes on the heels of a four-game winning streak. Brooklyn's most recent stumble came against the red-hot Miami Heat, which toppled them by a 109-106 margin on Sunday night. Spencer Dinwiddie led the way with 29 points, adding six rebounds, four assists and one steal. Joe Harris poured in 25 points. DeAndre Jordan provided 15 points and eight rebounds. David Nwaba contributed 10 points, two rebounds and one block.

The Nets will continue to be without Kyrie Irving (shoulder), Caris LeVert (thumb) and Wilson Chandler (suspension) for Wednesday's game.

The Hawks (5-16) sport a record that's reflective of the extent of their struggles thus far, and they'll come into Wednesday's contest having just snapped a 10-game losing streak with a 104-79 win over the Golden State Warriors on Monday night. Trae Young led the way with 24 points, adding seven assists and one rebound. De'Andre Hunter turned in 18 points and four rebounds. Damian Jones started at center and delivered 16 points and eight boards. Alex Len contributed 11 points and four boards off the bench.

The Hawks will be without Allen Crabbe (knee) and John Collins (suspension) for Wednesday's game. Kevin Huerter (shoulder) will carry a questionable designation, while Hunter (finger) will be listed as doubtful.

The Nets swept the three-game 2018-19 season series from the Hawks. Wednesday's game is the first of four 2019-20 meetings between Brooklyn and Atlanta.
