Trail Blazers Host Kings on Wednesday
The Portland Trail Blazers play host to the Sacramento Kings at Moda Center on Wednesday.

The Kings (8-11) come into this matchup losing three of their last four games which actually snapped a stretch in which they won six of their previous eight fixtures. It's unclear exactly which team this is and the injuries certainly aren't making it any easier to decipher. Losing Marvin Bagley in the opening weeks put this team in a big hole with an 0-5 record and then an injury to De'Aaron Fox made it even tougher. They've actually been sitting around .500 since Fox went down though, as Bogdan Bogdanovic has taken on a much bigger role in his absence. He's got All-Star potential and it's been frustrating to see him wasting his talent on the bench. He, Fox and Bagley pair beautifully with guys like Richaun Holmes and Harrison Barnes, as this should be a very good team in the second half of the season.

The Trail Blazers (8-13) have had just seven games at home this season, posting a disappointing 3-4 record. This is perennially one of the best home teams in the league year-after-year and playing some home games is just the thing that could get them going. They actually come into this matchup winning three of their last four games which directly correlates with the Carmelo Anthony signing. He's been playing some great ball too, averaging over 20 points per game last week, landing him Player of the Week honors. If they can get that Melo to show up every week from here on out, this is a team no one will want to face in the coming months after reaching the Western Conference Finals last season.

These teams have actually split their two meetings this season, with both of them being played in Sacramento. Coming into the year, Portland won 13 of their previous 16 games over the Kings.
