2023 Fantasy Outlook
An unlikely candidate to lead the Rams' wide receiver corps in offensive snaps last season, Skowronek netted 680 reps in 14 games before a calf strain ended his campaign. Utilized in a variety of positions by coach Sean McVay, Skowronek wasn't able to translate the high usage in the stat column, putting up a pedestrian 39-376-0 line on 61 targets. Allen Robinson heading to Pittsburgh leaves Skowronek with a brighter outlook for 2023, as he has a chance to enter the upcoming season third on the depth chart behind Cooper Kupp and Van Jefferson and have ample opportunity to improve in Year 3. RANKS
Diminished role in 2023
Skowronek recorded eight catches for 66 yards and a touchdown and rushed twice for nine yards during the 2023 regular season.
ANALYSIS
Skowronek's third year on the Rams was mostly spent as a special-teams mainstay, as Puka Nacua, Cooper Kupp and Demarcus Robinson emerged as the leading targets for Matthew Stafford at wideout, with Tutu Atwell and Van Jefferson (before being traded to Atlanta) making up the second tier. Skowronek has one year left on his rookie contract, and he'll likely continue his role as a gadget player capable of lining up in a variety of roles -- including fullback -- on offense and as a trusted special-teams performer. However, neither role is likely to translate to much from a fantasy perspective.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Gets veteran competition
Skowronek has new veteran competition in the form of DeMarcus Robinson, who signed with the Rams on Thursday, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Skowronek is coming off a career-best 39-376 line across 14 games in 2022 and therefore appeared on his way to slotting into the No. 3 role behind Cooper Kupp, who projects to be recovered from last season's ankle injury, and Van Jefferson going into the coming campaign. However, Robinson's presence could certainly put a crimp in those plans, considering the veteran's experience edge and the fact he recorded a career-best 48 receptions with the Ravens in 2022.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2022
2021
Skowronek spent his rookie season dinged up between a fractured forearm that cost him the preseason and Week 1, and thigh and back injuries that cost him one additional game and may have limited his effectiveness, with just 11 catches for 133 yards in 2021. He operates as a big-bodied receiver who runs crisp routes and can make contested catches, but he lacks breakaway speed. Skowronek may find himself struggling to improve on his first-year numbers with another big wideout in Allen Robinson joining the team, as well as fellow 2021 draftee Tutu Atwell's return from injury.
