Nuggets Look Build Off Win And Even Series
The Los Angeles Lakers play the Denver Nuggets in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals on Thursday at Orlando.

The Nuggets avoided a late collapse in Game 3, to hold on for their first win of the series. They had already lost Game 2 on a last-second shot at the buzzer, and they came dangerously close to losing grip of Game 3, as a near 20-point lead dwindled down to a three-point game. However, they came up clutch in down the stretch in Game 3, as they outscored the Lakers, 13-8, through the final four minutes.

Jamal Murray led the Nuggets in the win and came up huge with a couple deep threes in the final minutes. Murray finished with 28 points on 10-of-17 shooting, 12 assists, eight rebounds and two steals, in 43 minutes. Nikola Jokic also continued his strong play and totaled 22 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, a steal and a block. Jerami Grant emerged as a difference-maker for the Nuggets, as he poured in 26 points on 7-of-11 shooting, in 33 minutes. The Nuggets severely out-rebounded the Lakers in Game 3, to give themselves an advantage. However, they gave up 18 turnovers in the contest, which they will need to clean up going forward.

Meanwhile, LeBron James did all he could to lead the Lakers in Game 3, as he totaled 30 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds, to become the oldest player to tally a 30-point triple double in playoff history. On the other hand, Anthony Davis added 27 points on 9-of-17 shooting, but only grabbed two rebounds, in 42 minutes of action. The combination of Davis, Dwight Howard and JaVale McGee combined for only four rebounds in Game 3, highlighting an area the Lakers need to improve on for Game 4.
