Streaking Nets Host Cavs
The Brooklyn Nets play host to the Cleveland Cavaliers at Barclays Center on Sunday evening.

The Cavs (22-49) have dropped nine of their last 10 games, including their most recent contest. They will look to bounce back and close their season with a win. They have lost seven straight road games and are, 9-26, on the road. Collin Sexton leads the team, averaging 24.5 points, 4.4 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game. Darius Garland continues to play well, averaging 17.4 points, 6.1 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game. Jarrett Allen is averaging 13.3 points, 9.9 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game. The Cavaliers are averaging a league-worst 103.8 points per game and they are shooting an average of 45.0 percent from the field, including an average of 33.7 percent from long range, which is second worst in the league. Larry Nance (thumb) and Kevin Love (rest) will be sidelined.

Meanwhile, this marks the second game of a back-to-back for the Nets (47-24), as they are coming off a home win over the Bulls on Saturday. The contest got out to a competitive start as the Nets trailed, 29-28, after one quarter. They picked up the pace in the second and outscored the visitors by 11 points in the quarter, to grab a 10-point lead by halftime. The contest tightened up in the third, but the Nets maintained an eight-point lead, heading into the final frame. They stayed strong through the fourth and held on for their fourth straight win. Kyrie Irving led the way with 22 points on 9-of-16 shooting. Bruce Brown totaled 16 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block, while Jeff Green chipped in 19 points, off the bench. The Nets will look to keep rolling and add to their, 27-8, home record. They have won six of their last 10 games and sit just 1.0 games out of first place in the East. Joe Harris (hip) will be sidelined.
