Magic and Wizards Tangle in Nation's Capital
The Orlando Magic takes on the Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena on Tuesday night.

The Magic (8-11) come into Tuesday's game heading in the wrong direction, as they've dropped four of the last six contests. However, one of the two victories during that span came in their most recent time on the floor, when they prevailed over the Golden State Warriors by a 100-96 margin on Sunday afternoon. Evan Fournier paced the Magic with 32 points, adding three rebounds and one steal. Terrance Ross supplied 19 points, four boards. one assist, one steal and one block. Jonathan Isaac and Markelle Fultz generated matching 14-point tallies, with Isaac also pulling down 11 rebounds and five blocks and Fultz dishing out nine dimes.

The Magic will continue to be without Nikola Vucevic (ankle) and Al-Farouq Aminu (knee) for Tuesday's game. Michael Carter-Williams (hip) will be considered doubtful.

The Wizards (6-12) have had plenty of ups and downs thus far this season primarily due to their shoddy defense, and they'll come into Tuesday's contest on one of their downswings. Washington has dropped four of its last five games, with their most recent stumble coming at the hands of the Los Angeles Clippers by a 150-125 score on Sunday night. Rui Hachimura paced the Wizards with 30 points, adding nine rebounds, three assists and one steal. Bradley Beal followed with a 23-point, 11-assist double-double that also included five rebounds and two steals. Davis Bertans registered 20 points, four rebounds, one assist, two steals and one block. Isaiah Thomas contributed 16 points, four rebounds and four assists.

The Wizards will likely list C.J. Miles (wrist) and Moritz Wagner (ankle) as questionable at best for Tuesday's contest. Ian Mahinmi (Achilles) will remain out.

Tuesday's game is the second of four 2019-20 meetings for Orlando and Washington. The Magic holds a 1-0 series lead, having notched a 125-121 victory on Nov. 17.
