The Skinny
The Sparks were blown out by the Mystics in Tuesday's tilt and may have an opportunity to return the favor against a Fever squad they bested by 33 points a week ago. Nneka Ogumike led the way with 17 points, but six different players were able to reach double digits for the contest thanks to the blowout nature of the game. The Sparks don't have the luxury of being on their home floor Thursday, where they hold a 12-2 record, so this game could be more competitive than it was last week.
Indiana is coming off back-to-back impressive victories over the Storm and Aces in their last two games and will look to carry that momentum into Thursday's matchup. While rookie Teaira McCowan has averaged just five points and six rebounds over 20.5 minutes in the two meetings this season, Natalie Achonwa is a question mark for the contest and could result in boosted minutes for her Thursday. McCowan has tallied 20-plus points in three of the last four games, though the one down game came against Los Angeles (six points). The Sparks also struggle to cover the three-point line, which could benefit Kelsey Mitchell, who has averaged 11 points per game in the two contests.

The Skinny
With a victory over the Dream on Thursday, the Mercury will clinch a playoff berth. During the Mercury's most recent game -- a 95-82 win over the Liberty -- Brittney Griner finished with 29 points and 14 rebounds. Griner also leads the team with 20.5 points per game. Leilani Mitchell matched a career-high 29 points. Diana Taurasi also played her third game of the season, and while she's struggling with her shot, she's now leading Phoenix with 6.0 assists per game. DeWanna Bonner leads the team with 7.7 boards per game.
Even with the victory Thursday, the Dream (7-22) would still remain deep down in the WNBA standings. Their most recent game was a 77-73 victory, however. Tiffany Hayes -- leading the team with 14.9 PPG and 2.9 APG -- dropped 23 points. Alex Bentley also chipped in a dozen points. Jessica Breland paces the Dream in rebounding with 7.2 per contest. The Skinny
Chicago earns the nod as the biggest favorite Thursday in the game with the highest over-under, suggesting the Sky could provide plenty of fantasy value despite playing a Dallas Wings squad that sports the slowest tempo in the league. Part of the reason for that is that Dallas will be without six players Thursday due to injury, with the most recent casualties being Kayla Thornton (ankle) and Imani McGee-Stafford (foot). Without Thornton available, Kaela Davis, Glory Johnson, Kristine Anigwe and Brooke McCarty-Williams are all candidates to see boosted minutes. Davis notably saw a jump in her playing time while Thornton served a two-game suspension earlier this month. Given Chicago's uptempo style, there's still some value to be had among Dallas' rotation, especially given the limited bodies available. Johnson is the best available rebounder for the Wings against a Chicago squad that struggles in that area, so she may be worth a look Thursday.
The Sky have played some of their best ball recently as well, but the club was unable to secure a victory Tuesday on the road at Minnesota, ending a three-game winning streak. That didn't stop Diamond DeShields from continuing her dominant scoring efforts of late, as she's now tallied at least 17 points in each of the last five games. Cheyenne Parker has also earned additional playing time of late and put her 27 minutes to good use Tuesday, tying a season high with 22 points while posting her best fantasy night of the season. She should continue to see regular minutes moving forward with Jantel Lavender out for the season.
