Zhuk announced Monday on Instagram that she plans to "give [her] body a couple of years break and see how it goes".

Zhuk, the 2015 Junior Wimbledon Champion, has dealt with numerous injuries throughout her professional tenure and it seems she's given up for the time being. She's still just 20 years old, so she could withstand some significant time off and still come back and compete at a high level, although her career-high mark was only No. 116 back in 2018.
