Illness
March 16, 2020
Tomic revealed Monday that he has "all the symptoms" of COVID-19 but has yet to be tested for the virus, Eurosport.com reports. "Since Tuesday, started feeling not right," Tomic said. "I'm currently in Miami and isolated away from everyone, as advised."
ANALYSIS
Tomic indicated that he believes he picked up the virus while traveling to Monterrey last week. The 24-year-old will presumably head in for testing in the near future and remain under quarantine until doctors are confident he won't infect others. With the ATP Tour suspended for the next five and a half weeks, Tomic could be ready to compete immediately once competition resumes.
