Five-time 24 Hours of Le Mans class winner and Corvette Racing great Gavin has announced that he will retire from professional racing after this weekend's FIA World Endurance Championship race at Spa, sportscar365.com reports.

The 48-year-old veteran will be making his last professional racing start at Spa this weekend. Gavin is teaming up with Antonio Garcia to run the six-hour endurance race Saturday and then he'll cap a three-decade career in racing with 204 starts at Corvette Racing. The Englishman plans to start his own driving academy in Europe after his racing career is over.
