Giagos will take on Alan Patrick at UFC Lincoln on April 25, MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Giagos has made two separate stints with the UFC, going 1-2 back in 2014 and 2015 and 202 since rejoining the promotion in 2018. He most recently lost to Drakkar Klose by unanimous decision in August. Patrick has a 5-2 record with the UFC but hasn't fought since October of 2018, when he was knocked out by Scott Holtzman.
Drops brawl to Drakkar Klose

Giagos lost to Drakkar Klose via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC 241 on Saturday in Anaheim.
ANALYSIS
Giagos is ridiculously tough and an argument could be made that he deserved a $50,000 Fight of the Night bonus for his effort. He ate a good half-dozen shots from Klose that would have felled any mere mortal. Giagos kept throwing bombs throughout the course of the 15-minute bout despite the fact he was clearly running on fumes for the final five-plus minutes. Giagos will never be labeled as the world's most technical fighter, but he has some power and is exceedingly durable. The 29-year-old is now 2-2 in his first four UFC bouts.
Draws Drakkar Klose at UFC 241

July 25, 2019
Giagos will take on Drakkar Klose in a lightweight matchup at UFC 241 on Aug. 17, MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Giagos enters this matchup on the heels of a two-fight winning streak where he accumulated a combined 11 takedowns. Grappling points won't come as easy against Klose, however, who owns a 70 percent takedown defense through five UFC fights. Giagos will enter as the younger fighter with largely inconsequential advantages in both height and reach. Klose will hold the edge in striking, though, accumulating more than a full significant strike greater per minute than his opponent.
Uses wrestling to secure victory

Giagos defeated Damir Hadzovic via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night 153 in Stockholm, Sweden on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Giagos used body kicks and takedowns beautifully to establish a lead in Round 1 before making an adjustment to continuously land an uppercut when Hadzovic dipped to avoid strikes. It can be said that Giagos sometimes wrestles to the point of exhaustion, as he spent the entire third round on his back but had built up a big enough lead to make it stick. Despite that flaw, Giagos seems like a good, athletic kickboxer who can grapple when he needs to, which will make him an interesting fighter to watch going forward. He improves to 17-7 in professional MMA as a result of the win.
Back in win column in Australia

Giagos defeated Mizuto Hirota via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-27, 30-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Adelaide, Australia.
ANALYSIS
There's nothing like a fight with the 37-year-old Hirota to get you back in the UFC win column. Much like his opponent, Giagos has proven to be thoroughly mediocre throughout two stints with the company. He did just enough on Saturday to likely save his job on the strength of five takedowns, but Giagos remains nothing more than roster depth. All told, Giagos is now 2-5 in five fights under the UFC banner.
