Batgerel defeated Guido Cannetti via KO (punches) at 3:01 of Round 1 at UFC 248 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
A match up with the 40-year-old Cannetti was all Batgerel needed to get back on track. Batgerel looked quite ordinary in a unanimous decision loss to Heili Alateng in his company debut last August, but one sweeping left hook to Cannetti's jaw quickly propelled him into the win column with the UFC. Batgerel's power is legitimate but it remains to be seen if the rest of his game is up to par. We will get a better idea of that moving forward. He did score a victory over UFC veteran Kai-Kara France on the regional circuit back in April 2013.

Batgeral will face Guido Cannetti at UFC 248 in Las Vegas on March 7, Nolan King of MMA Junkie reports.
ANALYSIS
Batgeral fell to Heili Alateng in his last fight at UFC Fight Night 157 via unanimous decision, but he'll get a shot to bounce back against Cannetti, who's also coming off a loss in his last bout. Batgeral owns a 6-2 professional fighting record.
