Nygard appeared in 33 games for the Oilers last year, notching nine points and 39 shots on goal. He missed time with a broken hand and a rib injury at various points in the year, but he was a solid depth winger when active. The Oilers got deeper at left wing at the trade deadline with the acquisition of Tyler Ennis, which could make it difficult for Nygard to see regular playing time in 2020-21. The 27-year-old Swede will probably have to settle for a part-time role at best, and his lack of non-scoring numbers will keep him off the fantasy radar entirely.
