Scott Harrington
39-Year-Old Golfer
2019–20 Fantasy Outlook
Despite closing in on his 40s, Harrington could be an intriguing prospect when considering short-term deep sleepers among the 2019-20 rookie class. En route to finishing 19th on the Regular Season Points List, he ranked fourth in ball striking, fifth in all-around, fourth in birdie average and sixth in total driving. Harrington is also heating up just in time for the wraparound fall series, placing T3-MC-T28-T11-2-T14 from the TPC Colorado Championship to the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship. T2 at Houston Open
October 13, 2019
Harrington surged into a tie for second place after shooting a five-under 67 on Sunday at the Houston Open.
Harrington challenged for the win late, but ultimately was just one shot shy of Lanto Griffin. Harrington birdied holes 12, 13, 15, and 16, but bogeyed holes 14 and 17. The ball striking for the 38-year-old was strong, as he ranked second in SG: Approach and first in SG: Tee-to-green. He also tied for the most greens in regulation in Houston. Harrington will not be in the field for the CJ Cup.
