Michael Gellerman
27-Year-Old Golfer
2019–20 Fantasy Outlook
Gellerman has missed the cut in 25 of his last 44 starts on the Korn Ferry Tour, but a win at the KC Golf Classic in mid-May allowed the 27-year-old Tucson native to secure a PGA Tour card as he's now slated to become a rookie and make his first ever appearance at the next level. Given Gellerman's struggles with scrambling throughout the 2019 season, it's a bit strange that he managed to claim victory at a somewhat difficult venue that didn't involve birdie-fest characteristics. He also tied for third later in the year at the TPC Colorado Championship, where his overall score of 13-under-par was two strokes better than the 11-under mark he set during the win in Kansas City. Gellerman's inconsistencies remain a concern, but he ultimately ranked top-20 on the KFT in GIR percentage. Read Past Outlooks
