Majors Value Meter: Masters Rankings

Below are our 2014 Masters rankings. This list is geared toward winner-take-all leagues and leagues that reward the lowest aggregate score, but it can serve other leagues as well, no matter the nuances. Check the comments section for golfers who are scratched.

A=Amateur

1. Rory McIlroy
Note: Coming off T7 at Houston Open and possesses all the shots to contend at Augusta. Never better than T15, but led through 54 holes in 2011.
2. Phil Mickelson
Note: An even bigger favorite this year without Tiger, Lefty has a decorated record at the Masters, including 10 top-5s and three green jackets.
3. Adam Scott
Note: Defending Masters champ faltered a few weeks ago on Sunday but he's in solid form and produced three top-5 finishes in majors last year.
4. Matt Kuchar
Note: Knocking on the door the last two weeks, came up empty but is in excellent form. Major is the only thing missing from his impressive resume. T8 last year, T3 in previous two.
5. Lee Westwood
Note: Majorless at 40, Westwood is overdue. Strong record at Augusta with five top-11s in the last six years, coming close to a green jacket in 2010, 2012.
6. Keegan Bradley
Note: 2011 PGA champ is in solid form with seven top-20s this season. Hits towering iron shots that come in handy on the tricky Augusta National green complexes.
7. Justin Rose
Note: First Masters start as a major champion after breakthrough at 2013 U.S. Open. His last two starts on
