Harris is slated to re-sign with the Browns on a two-year, $9 million contract, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
ANALYSIS
Harris joined the Browns last March on a one-year deal and was able to earn a two-year contract this time around. The 32-year-old operated as a rotational piece on the interior of Cleveland's defensive line last season and should hold a similar role in 2024.

Harris was part of the package that the Seahawks received for shipping Russell Wilson to Denver. Turning 31 years old in August, Harris will be the oldest defensive end on the team by far this season. However, he appears to have plenty of gas left in the tank, as Harris matched his career highs in tackles (49) and sacks (six) last year. Harris will compete with Uchenna Nwosu, Darrell Taylor and rookie Boye Mafe for reps on the edge.
The Broncos re-signed Harris this offseason to a three-year, $27 million contract. The defensive end enters his seventh year in the NFL as an important piece of Denver's defensive front, having amassed 8.5 sacks over the last two seasons.
Harris capped the Broncos' 4-1 finish by batting down Derek Carr's two-point try to solidify a 16-15 win against his former team. Harris enjoyed a career-year in 2019 with personal bests in tackles (48) and sacks (six) while leading all defensive linemen with nine passes defensed. He flourished after permanently moving from nose tackle to defensive end in Week 5. Harris got lost in the shuffle in free agency and returned to Denver on a significant discount. With a full season at defensive end and the addition of Pro-Bowler Jurrell Casey opposite him, Harris will have an opportunity to improve on his 2019 season.
Harris is entering his second season after being drafted by the Raiders in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL Draft, 235th overall. The 24-year old defensive end is a former Wisconsin recruit that transferred to Illinois State where he was kicked off of the team in 2013. He's near the bottom of the depth chart at the defensive end position and he'll likely struggle to make the 53-man roster. If he does earn a spot, he won't hold much value as an IDP unless the Raiders' were to encounter a slew of injuries.
Despite being kicked off the football team at Illinois State and not playing in 2013, Harris still ended up being drafted by the Raiders in the seventh round of the 2014 draft. He's no lock to make the team, however.
