2014
The 26-year-old is slated to start at right guard in his first season with the Jets.
A 2011 first-round pick, Carpenter has failed to live up to his promise. He struggled through injuries his first two years and was inconsistent last year. He started 10 games at left guard last season and likely will win the starting job this season, but he has a lot to prove. The Seahawks did not pick up his option for next year, which perhaps tells you what they think of him.
