His 6:10 TD:INT in four games with the Bulldogs left a lot to be desired, but Costello racked up an impressive 1,267 passing yards, including an SEC-record 623 against LSU in his first start for Mississippi State. Costello will hope to bump out 2019 fifth-round pick Easton Stick for the third spot on the quarterback depth chart behind young sensation Justin Herbert and veteran backup Chase Daniel.
