Chandler Cox

Before landing in Miami as a seventh-round pick, Cox was tenacious fullback/H-back at Auburn who carried the ball just 11 times across four years and 41 starts. Three of those carries resulted in touchdowns, speaking to Cox' abilities as a power runner, while his athleticism allowed him to catch 26 passes and even occasionally line up at tight end. It remains to be seen what coach Brian Flores has in mind for Cox as a rookie, but the 6-1, 242-pounder's combination of versatility and physicality could lend him to usage in a variety of offensive packages. At the very least, Cox should be a special-teamer and assist in compensating for an unproven offensive line.
