2023 Fantasy Outlook
Parham was expected to be a major part of Los Angeles' offense in 2022, but separate hamstring injuries held the 6-8 target to six games. In the limited time the 25-year-old was available, Parham was a weapon on deeper passes, especially off play action. Gerald Everett is still around as the team's starting tight end, but if healthy Parham should handle the No. 2 role and potentially provide red-zone utility, with Tre' McKitty also in the mix at the position. Big performance in Week 18
Parham recorded five receptions on six targets for 83 yards in Sunday's 13-12 loss to the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Parham had been inactive for the last three games, initially due to a shoulder injury but then as a healthy scratch. However, he had plenty of opportunity with the Chargers' receiving corps beat up -- both Gerald Everett (knee) and Joshua Palmer (knee) left the game -- and he delivered a career-best yardage performance as a result. He accounted for three catches of more than 15 yards and proved to be one of the team's better offensive threats on the day. Parham is under contract in Los Angeles for the 2024 season, but he has a minimal cap hit, so he will likely have to compete for his roster spot.

Has role in offense
Parham benefitted from the lack of offseason additions that the Chargers made to their tight end corps, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Parham is returning for his fourth season with the Chargers after re-signing with the team in the offseason. He's struggled to stay healthy throughout his career, though he's flashed big-play potential with seven receptions of more than 20 yards on only 40 total catches. The Chargers were expected to add competition at tight end either in the draft or in free agency, but after they failed to do so, Parham will enter training camp second on the depth chart behind Gerald Everett.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2022
2021
Parham has quietly emerged as a capable No. 2 tight end, as the former XFLer is coming off his second consecutive season with three receiving touchdowns. The 6-8 behemoth is still developing as a blocker, but he's certainly gained Justin Herbert's trust in the red zone and the Chargers' coaching staff also seems to be happy to give him opportunities considering Parham nearly doubled his offensive snaps from his rookie campaign despite playing in just one more game. The team signed Gerald Everett from the Seahawks to operate as the primary starting tight end, but Parham remains ahead of 2021 third-round pick Tre' McKitty on the depth chart.
