2023 Fantasy Outlook
Crowder was never able to get things going in Buffalo last year, tallying just six catches (on 13 targets) for 60 yards across three-plus contests before suffering a season-ending ankle injury Week 4. The veteran wideout signed with the Giants in the offseason, but he's not a lock to make the team's 53-man roster. What New York's receiver room lacks in big names, it makes up for in depth, particularly in the slot, making Crowder's skill set somewhat redundant. It could help Crowder's case that he has experience as a kick returner, and that both Sterling Shepard and Wan'Dale Robinson are coming off ACL tears that make their statuses for Week 1 uncertain. Staying in Washington
Crowder agreed to one-year deal with the Commanders on Wednesday, Josina Anderson of CBS Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Crowder spent his first four NFL seasons in Washington from 2015 through 2018 and made his way back to the Commanders last fall. He had one big game in a Week 8 loss to the Eagles but mostly served as a return specialist and depth receiver. Crowder turns 31 in August and may not have a guaranteed roster spot heading into training camp this summer.

Gets look from Commanders
Crowder worked out with the Commanders on Tuesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Crowder spent training camp and the preseason with the Giants but was ultimately among the team's cuts. It's unclear what he may be offer to a team, as he's battled ankle, calf and groin injuries across the last three seasons. The Commanders are dealing with injuries of their own as Terry McLaurin is questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals due to a toe issue, so Crowder could join the team to provide needed depth among the team's pass-catching corps.

Crowder moves to Buffalo to replace Cole Beasley in the slot, looking to rebound from last
year's career lows for yards per catch and yards per target. The 29-year-old should improve his
efficiency going from the Jets to Josh Allen and the Bills, but there are still some other potential
problems, including Crowder's inability to stay healthy in recent years (16 missed games the last
four seasons). On the other hand, he's been saddled with poor QB play his entire career and
has nonetheless managed PPR value at times as a pure slot specialist. In Buffalo, he'll be
behind Stefon Diggs and breakout candidate Gabriel Davis, perhaps seeing more targets if
Davis fails to meet expectations.
