CSKA Moscow announced Monday that Kulagin (thigh) won't be retained after his contract with the club expired, Eurohoops.net reports.
ANALYSIS
Kulagin spent the past eight years as a member of the organization, winning two EuroLeague titles with the main club in 2015-16 and 2018-19. The 25-year-old spent most of the 2019-20 campaign on the sidelines, appearing in just one EuroLeague contest while missing significant time due to a calf injury and a strained right thigh. Once he overcomes the latter issue, Kulagin will presumably look to find work elsewhere around Europe.
