SEA vs. ATL
We're on to championship Sunday in Call of Duty. Not many would have guessed the Surge would be included in that conversation, as the Seattle team locked in their first semifinal appearance after yet another win over Los Angeles Guerrillas late Saturday night, their fourth over the team this season.
Considering they've lost every other Call of Duty World League series in 2020 to a team not named "Guerrillas" though, I'm a bit concerned the run may end here. The Surge's Search and Destroy has improved drastically since the last time we saw them on stage, but it's still a team that relies heavily on Octane to carry the offensive burden. He certainly put together a solid performance against the Empire, finishing with a 1.20 KD and a hefty chunk of Hardpoint time – numbers that I think could be absolutely repeatable against a FaZe roster that shocking lost both its Hardpoints to an inferior New York Subliners on Saturday.
Simp is the highest-priced player ($9,200), but he's probably my least favorite option of the guys $8,600 or higher. There's nothing wrong with him as a player – he's still averaging close to 150 engages a series which is more than a healthy figure – but you can do so much more with your lineup by piling together a bunch of other cheaper options from this matchup, and then targeting a
