Game Preview

A former MLB (Roenicke) and former MiLB (Woodall) pitcher face off in this matchup, with the 38-year-old Roenicke, who pitched for the Reds, Blue Jays, Rockies and Twins during six seasons stateside from 2008-13 coming in off back-to-back quality starts. He'll face a talented Guardians lineup that could challenge him to repeat the feat a third straight time, but he could be in line for good run support considering how poorly opposing pitcher Bryan Woodall has performed.

Chen Chieh-Hsien, Lions- Chen is having an outstanding season, as he carries a .383/.435/.486 line that includes 23 extra-base hits and 36 RBI. His typical leadoff role also helps to keep his value high, and he's proven to be an excellent contact hitter with only 18 strikeouts in 316 plate appearances. The fact he also boasts above-average speed (14 steals) only strengthens his case.    

Kao Kuo-Ching, Lions- Kao boasts an outstanding .388/.419/.500 line and has only struck out nine times in 86 plate appearances. He does an excellent job getting on base and has collected between 18 and 21 Dream11 points in four recent starts. 

Chen Young-Chi, Lions- Chen is enjoying a strong season with a .349/.398/.548 line that is partly comprised of 20 extra-base hits (11 doubles, one triple, eight home runs) and 42 RBI. He's also scored 31 runs and has scored double-digit Dream11 points in six recent starts.

Kao Kuo-Hui, Guardians- Kao has a .325 average and massive .657 slugging percentage, the latter figure a reflection of his 29 extra-base hits (16 doubles, 13 home runs). He's knocked in 31 runs as well and has been swinging a very hot bat, scoring between 18 and 28 Dream11 points in three of the last six games, and having tallied 26 Dream11 points against these same Lions back on July 8.
