Bell entered his name in the transfer portal in December and is expected to leave North Carolina as a graduate transfer, Chad Floyd of TarHeelBlog.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Bell began his career with the Tar Heels as a defensive back before converting to slot receiver last spring. He looked like he might have a shot at cracking the wideout rotation in 2019, but he ultimately fell behind Dazz Newsome and Rontavious Groves and saw scant playing time, logging no targets on the season. Bell will likely look to move on to a smaller program in the FBS or FCS and will be able to compete immediately in his final year of eligibliity.
