Cleared for Frisco Bowl
Utah State has cleared Bright to play for Friday's Frisco Bowl matchup with Kent State, despite being cited in Logan, Utah over the weekend on misdemeanor charges of marijuana possession, Kyle Bonagura of ESPN.com reports.

Along with Bright, quarterback Jordan Love and receiver Sean Carter were cited Dec. 14, but all three players will be available for the bowl game while they await a court date later this month. Bright is a redshirt senior who will exhaust his eligibility after the bowl game, so the charge won't have any further implications on his status with the Utah State program.
