Moving on from Vandy
QBNo Current School

Wallace announced Jan. 16 via his personal Twitter account that he has entered the NCAA's transfer portal with the intention of leaving Vanderbilt.
ANALYSIS
Wallace received the opportunity to compete for Vanderbilt's starting quarterback job during his redshirt junior campaign last fall, but he ultimately lost out on the gig to Ball State graduate transfer Riley Neal. With Neal having since exhausted his eligibility and two more quarterbacks in Mo Hasan and Allan Walters having left the program, Wallace may have been the favorite to open the 2020 season atop the depth chart for the Commodores. Wallace's departure now creates an even more uncertainty under center for Vanderbilt, and it's unclear where the rising redshirt senior plans to go for his final year of eligibility. He appeared in 12 games during his four-year career at Vanderbilt, completing 54 of 123 passing attempts for 401 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions.
