Quincy Adeboyejo

Adeboyejo was involved in one of the most memorable plays in all of college football last season, catching a tipped pass from a falling Chad Kelly and taking it the rest of the way for a score against Alabama. However, Adeboyejo wasn’t a mere flash in the pan in 2015. Adeboyejo took a major step forward last season after a quiet first two years on campus, setting career highs in receptions (38), yards (604), touchdowns (7), and yards per reception (15.9). Now that Laquon Treadwell and Cody Core are gone, Adeboyejo should have an even bigger season in 2016. Because none of the current Ole Miss receivers are quite at the talent level of Treadwell, it’s unlikely that there will be a true target hog in the offense this year. Still, even if the targets are distributed evenly among Rebel starting receivers, that should be enough for Adeboyejo to top even last season’s number.
