Hale announced Monday that he would join Winthrop as a graduate transfer for the 2019-20 season, Jeff Goodman of WatchStadium.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hale began his collegiate career in 2015-16 at Central Michigan, appearing in 11 games as a true freshman before redshirting in 2016-17. He then moved on to Division II Grand Valley State, where he averaged 17 points per game while shooting 41.1 percent from three-point range during the past campaign. As a graduate transfer, he'll be eligible immediately as he returns to the Division I ranks for his final season.
