Leaves Murray State for Southern
Holliday committed Tuesday to join Southern as a transfer from Murray State, VerbalCommits.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Holliday placed his name in the portal back on March 21, just a couple weeks after his junior season at Murray State came to an end. After joining the Racers as a JUCO transfer, Holliday struggled mightily in his first year of Division I ball, averaging 0.7 points and 1.2 rebounds in 10.6 minutes per game while shooting just 21.4 percent from the floor in his 30 appearances. It's unclear whether or not he arrives at Southern with his undergraduate degree, so Holliday could have to sit out the 2020-21 season unless the NCAA extends him a waiver for immediate eligibility.
