Sturdivant committed Thursday to join Georgia Tech as a transfer from USC, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Sturdivant will head across the country to continue his career after averaging only 8.4 minutes per game across 21 appearances as a true freshman in 2019-20. Since the Norcross, Ga. native is moving back to his home state, the NCAA coudl look favorably on his appeal for a waiver for immediate eligibility. Whether he debuts for the Yellow Jackets in 2020-21 or 2021-22, Sturdivant will retain three years of eligibility.
