Jones has declared for the 2021 NBA Draft, he announced via Twitter.
ANALYSIS
This isn't all that surprising, as Jones is a projected first-round pick in the draft. The sophomore center showed major signs of improvement from his freshman campaign and averaged career highs in just about ever major statistical category with the Longhorns in 2020-21. Jones also stated that he has signed with an agent, thus dismissing the idea that he can test the NBA waters but ultimately come back to Texas next season.
