Heat Topples Celtics, 125-113, for Series-Clinching Game 6 Victory
The Miami Heat defeated the Boston Celtics, 125-113, in Game 6 of their Eastern Conference finals playoff series Sunday night in Orlando. The Heat wins the series, 4-2.

The Celtics (2-4) had the tough task of having to get emotionally up for a second straight potential elimination game, and in the first quarter, they were unable to match the intensity of the Heat (4-2), which emerged from the period with a 33-27 lead. Boston shot much better in the second quarter and had whittled its deficit to two points by halftime, and they ultimately had a game-high six-point lead with 9:15 remaining following a Jaylen Brown bucket. Unfortunately for coach Brad Stevens' squad, Miami's shooters caught fire from that point, and the Heat finished on a 35-17 run to notch the series-clinching win.

Brown paced the Celtics with 26 points, complementing them with eight rebounds, four assists and three steals. Jayson Tatum followed with 24 points, adding 11 assists, seven rebounds, two steals and one block. Marcus Smart and Kemba Walker generated matching 20-point tallies, with Smart also pulling in eight rebounds and Walker dishing out five assists. Gordon Hayward contributed 12 points off the bench.

Bam Adebayo, who's enjoyed a stellar postseason overall, led the Heat with 32 points, adding 14 rebounds, five assists and one steal. Jimmy Butler delivered 22 points, eight assists, two rebounds and one steal. Tyler Herro furnished 19 points, seven assists and five boards. Duncan Robinson and Andre Iguodala provided 15 points each, while Goran Dragic managed 13 points, seven assists, three rebounds and one steal.

The Heat now prepare to meet the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night in Orlando.
